Company CEO, Dinesh Wadhwani discusses critical initiatives that can help make Massachusetts a model state in sustainability.

On June 20, current Massachusetts State Treasurer and candidate for Governor, Steve Grossman met with Dinesh Wadhwani, ThinkLite founder and CEO along with other business leaders to discuss how the Commonwealth can improve its support of green initiatives across the state.

The meeting was held at The Longfellow Club, Wayland, where ThinkLite’s revolutionary energy efficient lighting solutions have been deployed.
When asked to share the highlights of the meeting, Wadhwani said, “I was very impressed with the Treasurer’s perspective and commitment to green initiatives state wide. Treasurer Grossman clearly has a grasp on the tremendous opportunity that exists. The Commonwealth helps pave the way for a full spectrum of companies, including ThinkLite, that offer solutions to help businesses adopt sustainable practices.”
ThinkLite’s Wadhwani conferred with Treasurer Grossman and other leaders of sustainable businesses and organizations. These included Laury Hammel, founder and president of The Longfellow Clubs who has for many years focused on making his clubs green and sustainable.
During a tour of the Longfellow Club, Treasurer Grossman had the opportunity to see the exceptional light quality and hear about the significant energy savings provided by ThinkLite’s proprietary LED tubes that retrofit directly into existing fluorescent fixtures. These lamps have a ten-year lifespan, cut energy consumption by 50-60%, experience minimal light depreciation over time and provide the highest lumens per watt available today.
