With over 500 companies competing for this year’s Inc. Magazine top 30 under 30 in the USA, the Natick, Massachusetts-based co-founders Danny and Dinesh Wadhwani were applauded as the 2015 Top Young Entrepreneurs. Their company ThinkLite, which custom designs, manufactures, and supplies businesses with LED lamps compatible with their existing infrastructure, landed this year’s top honor.

“We were proud and humbled to be selected among the top 30 in the country, which represents the nation’s best and brightest young entrepreneurs”, said co-founder Danny Wadhwani. “But to be selected as number one, that is a remarkable honor.”
Dinesh Wadhwani, Danny’s brother and co-founder added, “At ThinkLite, we have developed break through innovations in the LED and induction lighting technology space. We strongly believe in challenging the wasteful practices of today, ensuring that no fixture is wasted into a landfill with every ThinkLite project. One of our main product lines is our proprietary driverless T8 and T5 LED Tubes. We lead the market today with the most reliable, efficient and highest quality tube, capable of replacing T5 fluorescents HOs (High Outputs), T12 and T8 tubes of all shapes and sizes, including U Shapes direct retrofits, and a 360 degree LED Tube for indirect fixtures. As companies become more focused on sustainable corporate initiatives, as well as controlling costs, our ThinkLite technology allows them to save 50-60% on their lighting electric costs. We are pleased that we can make an immediate difference to any company’s bottom line.”
ThinkLite lighting products are compatible with numerous incentive programs established by utility companies all over the USA, enabling customers to maximize their return on every project. ThinkLite’s dedicated team manages and completes all the paperwork and filings on behalf of clients, to ensure they receive their incentives swiftly.
“This makes the process efficient and repeatable for all of our customers,” said VP of Sales for North America, Michael Andersen. “The customer experiences a complete turnkey process, without having to spend any time trying to figure out the incentive process with their local utility company.”
The Wadhwani brothers were born and raised in Ghana, West Africa and received their college education in the United States. Danny attended Boston University, while Dinesh attended Babson College. Before ThinkLite, Danny spent three years with PwC’s Advisory practice (PricewaterhouseCoopers), while Dinesh has been a serial entrepreneur since the young age of 13.
